The lemming list for Autumn Winter 2015

Virtual shopping, it's akin to window shopping minus the cardio -- no shirt, no shoes, no problem!

Let's spend some time together surfing the Internet without the guilt. Without further ado, here's my Autumn Winter edit for 2015 for your viewing pleasure.

The Shirt

APOM's (A Part of Me) Dino Cross Back Top - It's fun, it's playful, and it's got dinosaurs! If the price tag weren't so hefty it would already be mine.

The Shoes

Nicole Warne of Gary Pepper collects the best accessories, so it was no surprise when she sported fellow style blogger and friend Chiara Ferragni's Flirting Flat Sandals. Don't take these shoes too seriously, and accept them for what they are -- a wink-y perk me up for any day of the week.

The Handbag

There's no denying the creative duo behind newish accessories label Mansur Gavriel's star is rising. Seriously hoping to hitch my wagon to their very fashionable Crossbody Bag, but it looks like I'll have to hang out for its September release. 

The Lipstick

Shanghai Suzy has eight more shades set to drop some time this April. Miss Victorine and Miss Nina are both begging to make their way into my makeup bag. 

The Dress

The Pleated Pyramid Dress featuring gold, navy, cerulean blue, and loads of symmetry hits all the right notes for me. Please stop it, Gorman -- my wallet can't handle it!

The Palette

The grown up version of all the nude eyeshadow palettes out there. YSL has come to the party, and they pulled out the stops with the Couture Variation Palette. Expect to blow your makeup budget on this little gem.

A few months ago I tried Shanghai Suzy's lipstick and quickly got hooked on the Grape Hubba Bubba scent  and, of course, the colour selection too. For Autumn/Winter 2014 Shanghai Suzy creator, Joanna Wheaton, released eight matte shades spanning from cherry red to black plum.

Let's take a closer look at all eight shades, starting with the reds and corals first.

I know all too well that every single lipstick shade I come across won't suit my complexion; if this was the case I'd be a very happy, albeit broke, lady.

So, what worked?

• Miss Melissa (my personal fav)

What didn't?

• Miss Sophia
• Miss Amy

I'm still on the fence about Miss Kitty in terms of hue (felt very Lorde-inspired). Application was a bit tricky as well -- you need to have a steady hand and you absolutely must apply two to three coats as it goes on extremely patchy.

On average, Shanghai Suzy's matte formula sticks around for close to eight hours.

Tip #1: Make sure you keep a tube of chapstick nearby.

Tip #2: Be prepared to clean colour build-up at the inside of your lips (always happens with long-lasting lipstick).

On trend, yummy and cheap, cheap, cheap!

I've been known to talk about makeup from time to time, but when my friend Daniela mentioned Shanghai Suzy I knew I had to do a quick google to find out more!

Shanghai Suzy launched back in August by Melbourne-based Joanna Wheaton. She knows a thing or two about makeup as she was a cosmetics marketing maven turned model (and you think Blake Lively is beautiful). Joanna had her heart set on arming Aussie lipstick lovers with wallet-friendly hues.

Talk about a dream realised.

Can you hear the choir sing?

Shanghai Suzy's debut lipstick collection features eight eye-catching shades in two distinct formulas -- matte, creamy/buttery soft and nourish, moisturising with a touch of slickness. On Sunday I ordered five* of the eight colours currently on offer for S/S 13-14 and by Tuesday afternoon they were in my hot little hands.

Aside from being affordable, Shanghai Suzy smells good too. On my nose (you know, being a gum connoisseur and all) I get Grape Bubble Yum/Kool-Aid, but I read Grape Hubba Bubba served as Joanna's muse.

So far I've only put Miss Brooklyn* through rigorous testing, thankfully she yielded a great performance. On average Miss Brooklyn stuck around for approximately four hours and in that time she moisturised my lips with jojoba seed oil. My usual multiple helpings of Chapstick were minimised after introducing my lips to Miss Brooklyn.

The packaging is by no means flashy, but I definitely appreciate its functionality. The cover firmly clicks back in place, leaving the bottom half of the tube locked and secured. I have no qualms about tossing a tube in my purse, in fact I already have :)
