Over the neon fad? Why not put it in neutral!

Natural

Most days I open my closet and find that I have absolutely nothing to wear. I do, but I get tired of my wardrobe easily.

Shocking, right?

I'm all for having a stellar purse, but I often look past other accessories to help spice up and diversify what I already own.

In no particular order, here are five items to have a think about..

1. ban.dö's Superstar Bobbi gives your hair a bit of flair.

2. Remember Sam & Libby ballet flats (P-Cakes bought my first pair from Marshalls)? Sam Edelman grew with the times and put his spin on the bobby soxers chosen footwear, the oxford. The Jayden Oxford (also available in black and metallic silver) will definitely put a bit of pep in your step.

3. Cinch in your waist with J.Crew's Clip Elastic Belt. A brass buckle, brown leather trim and tan elastic with black stitching tidy things up quite nicely.

4. Spare no expense with Anthropologie's Venice Cityscape Scarf. The pops of chartreuse, navy, lilac and dusty mauve give you just enough colour.

5. Give your legs extra length by slipping on Hue's Backseam Sheer Tights in cream. You'll surely have legs that will go for miles :)

But wait, there's more! The Chelsea in nude from The Cambridge Satchel Company popped up on my Reader feed earlier this week and I have a feeling I'll buy one sooner or later. But for now I have to be good and save for Hawaii.

What are some of your favourite go-to accessories?

Gosh darn it... you've done it again Adriano Goldschmied!

Yeah, I tried these on last week and refused to purchase them for $188.00 USD. Anthropologie, I will stalk you so hard until these babies are marked down. I will drool or breakdown and buy them -- let's see what'll happen.

Giving into dots: AG Stevie Polka Dot Ankle Jeans

Did you know that Anthropologie ships to practically everywhere in the world?  I didn't - that was until I broke down and ordered the AG Stevie Polka Dot Ankle jeans I had been lusting after for months!

Almost on a daily basis I checked Anthro's site hoping they'd be on sale.  Stalking (not the creepy kind) pays, because they finally went on sale.  When I checked out, I also discovered Anthro accepts Paypal!

Wow!

Colour me happy.

I ordered my jeans on a Friday and received them about a week and a half later here in Melbourne.

These jeans are super soft, wrinkle-resistant and are the perfect length for the verically-challenged (don't worry, I fit into this category too).

If you love these jeans as much as I do, the coral version is still available for purchase online.

AG Polka Dot Ankle Stevie. To buy or not to buy?

That is the question. I first spotted them (how pun-y) on Oh Joy's instagram feed.  Subtle, understated and envious! I googled until I found them on Anthro's online store and man, they're expensive! I'm a Gap girl and will do anything to avoid paying more than $70 for a pair of jeans; these on the other hand, retail for $178 USD.  Despite being baby soft and carrying rave reviews, I'm still unsure if I'm willing to bite the bullet.

Lucky for me, my local David Jones sells AG Jeans.  Upon trying them on I couldn't help but think it looked like I was wearing PJ pants - the price and final look sealed the deal.

Or did it?  I kept asking myself why they were so long on me; I know I'm short, but I fully expected them to hit my ankles.  Back to google I went and thus my "aha" moment materialised - same patterns and colours, but in different cuts and lengths.

Do I spend $178 for a super cute pair of jeans or do I let them slip from my hands like I did with this jacket?
