My current infatuation: Burberry Lipstick
/We'll keep this post picture heavy and word light. I'm still recovering from watching the final episode of How I Met Your Mother.
Lost puppy right here.
It [my infatuation] started with Burberry's Lip Glow in Bright Plum and has since spiralled out of control from then on.
Burberry's Lip Mist in Pink Heather is a bang on match to my lip colour, only better. The translucency of Burberry's Lip Mist formula allows my lips to shine minus that "in your face, I'm wearing lipstick, people!"
The neutral, tan leaning pink is perfect for both work and play. Just be careful when you kiss the one you're with, because they will catch a dose of the rose scent.
Now, for the ladies out there who want to dabble in the red lipstick realm, but are afraid to fully commit -- Burberry's Lip Mist in Rosewood is an excellent primer.
Rosewood is a sheer red that'll last during your morning commute, the meeting at 10 AM and the pit-stop for a sandwich and a can of Diet Coke.
You won't stop traffic in this red number, but your gal friends will certainly ask what colour is on your lips.
Burberry's Lip Cover in Tea Rose is the full coverage lipstick of the bunch. It's delicacy and demure nature is pure sweetness; think of strawberry flavoured champagne.
Now I realise Burberry lip products are an investment, so comb through their selection carefully and choose wisely. I did.
What are your thoughts? Crazy expensive, or are you now hankering for a slice of Burberry Pie?
And back to How I Met Your Mother... Cobie Smulders is bringing her A game when it comes to her lipstick selection.
Let's discuss. Seriously.
The Bagful breakdown:
Total amount for Burberry's Lip Mist or Lip Cover:
Value for money spent (performance and quality):
- 9 out of 10 bags — if I could buy one colour a week from Burberry I would.
Would another purchase be on the horizon?:
- Ox Blood caught my eye the other day, but I'll have to be good. For now.
